Letter from Lisbeth Monica Chávez Monge

Hello:

Dear sponsor, Education Generation. Kind regards from Lisbeth Monica Chávez Monge, Mosqoy 3 student. With this letter, I want to pass on my thanks for the support that you are giving me. In reality, I was needing it and I still need it!

I want to continue studying. I want to be a successful professional and work for my family, for my town, and for my country.

I will tell you that my greatest dream is to one day become the President of my country. I hate the inequality that exists in my country, the inequality between the rich and the poor. I hate the poverty, and the abuse from people who, sitting in an armchair in those large palaces or offices, call themselves more important and respected than the others who lower their heads. I hate corruption and detest those people who say that they worry about others while they don’t even do anything for them. I hate those people who promise one thing and don’t follow through. I hate those people who, because they have nice material things, call themselves more important and respected than those who don’t have those things.

I wish I could change all of this. It won’t be now, but it can and will be tomorrow! “Man becomes what he believes in.”

Again, I want to say thank you very, very much for the Mosqoy project and for all the sponsors, and of course for Education Generation. Thank you very much for everything. My family and I are all very grateful for the support that you give me.

Thank you very much!

Sincerely,

Lisbeth Monica Chávez Monge
