Fiorela lives with her parents and has 3 younger siblings. Fiorela's dad is a farmer and mom is a housewife and in order to reach high school each day, Fiorela and other students from Soccma would take a 1 hour ride in the back of a cattle truck, and then walk for 2 hours. She wants to study to be an Official Tour Guide because in her community there are archaeological tourism centres that could be a base for her. She would like to form a tourism agency and provide employment to the people in her town, which would allow their children to study. Fiorela’s community, Soccma, is the poorest in the Ollantaytambo district.

How are you? I am Fiorela Orihuela Aguilar and I am from the community of Soccma. I am writing this note to you to show my appreciation and to tell you thank you for your support. I will never fail you and I will get ahead because of your support. Before I couldn’t and didn’t plan on studying because of a lack of finances. I am 17 years old and I am the eldest daughter in my family. I want to be an example for my sisters. I have 3 younger sisters. The career that I picked is Official Tourist Guide because I like English a lot and adventure and traveling and visiting places.
