Mubarak would like to become an engineer. He has worked hard and is now an above average student. This continued effort and dedication will allow Mubarak to fulfill his ambition, but the low family income will require other means to support his goal.

Tameer-e-Jannat Science School, Ratwal, Fateh Jang

In October 2005, an earthquake with record 7.6 magnitude, hit the Himalayan region of Northern Pakistan, and the Kashmir region was hit the hardest. Hundreds of causalities were reported in North Muzzafarabad, Kashmir and Hazara division. It is estimated that 80,000 lives were lost, leaving another 3,500,000 people homeless. Many students were at school the moment the earthquake struck, which destroyed an estimated 8000 schools, many young lives were lost when students were buried under the rubble.Tameer-e-Jannat Science School was established for rehabilitating those affected by the quake, as many were orphaned. At present there are 183 residential students enrolled at Tameer-e-Jannat Science School.
