Rahmatullah is 25 years old and, upon completing his education, he would like to work as an IT professional. He currently works as a tailor out of his family's house, and likes to jog and play a variety of sports in his free time. One of Rahmatullah's goals is to help children and those with disabilities in his community to better their lives.
The Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) is a post-secondary institution which provides courses in Business Management, Information Technology, English and health care to more than 700 students in Kandahar, Afghanistan. More than half the school’s students are women, who attend at no charge. Proceeds from the Men’s Program are used to fund women’s education programs at the ACCC.
