Laraib has been dreaming of becoming a teacher since the age of 10, and now with improving grades she has demonstrated that she has the potential to meet this goal. However, the rising cost of education makes it difficult for Laraib to pay for her continuing education, though it is clear that the country needs young girls like Laraib to fulfill her ambitions so that others can benefit. Laraib requires a one year scholarship to help cover school fees: $10 USD a month.
Tameer-e-Millat Girls High School, Khewra, Jehlum
TM Model School Khwera was established in 1987. This is the first school of the Tameer-e-Millat Foundation. This school set the standards for all schools being built by the foundation. The school is located in the middle of the Jehlum District in the province of Punjab. Since 1987 there have been a number of students that have successfully completed studies in the school, who continued to establish a career path that has not only benefited them but the local economy and beyond. There are currently 362 boys and 306 girl students on campus.
