Mohammad Qasim is a 20-year old student. Once he completes the Business Management program at the Afghan-Canadian Community Center, he would like to pursue a career in Information Technology. Mohammad learned the value of education from his father, who is a teacher at a local high school. He wants to serve his community, and would like to work with an international organization. In his free time, Mohammad is an avid soccer player.
About the School
The Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) is a post-secondary institution which provides courses in Business Management, Information Technology, English and health care to more than 700 students in Kandahar, Afghanistan. More than half the school’s students are women, who attend at no charge. Proceeds from the Men’s Program are used to fund women’s education programs at the ACCC.
