Najeeb is 19 years old and lives in Kandahar, Afghanistan. His father is a clerk at the local high school, and Najeeb works as a welder to supplement his family's income. After completing his education in Business Management, he hopes to become an Information Technology professional and help children in his community to further their education. While not at school or work, Najeeb enjoys spending time with his friends.
About the School
The Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) is a post-secondary institution which provides courses in Business Management, Information Technology, English and health care to more than 700 students in Kandahar, Afghanistan. More than half the school’s students are women, who attend at no charge. Proceeds from the Men’s Program are used to fund women’s education programs at the ACCC.
