Cynthya hopes to study to become a nurse to help her community. She lives with her mother and four younger siblings (two sets of twins, ages 5 and 11). While she has been accepted to school the financial burden is too much for her family and she will not be able to attend without assistance.
“I want my mother and my family to feel proud of me, and I want to go forward with my life more than my family has been able to with theirs. I want to be something in life that will serve in the future.”
Cynthya is nearing completion of her first year of university in good standing, and is therefore eligible for a second year's funding!
*Please note that this scholarship is for $400. Whereas the first year scholarship covered her total annual costs of $1000, this year Education Generation is funding $400 and Mosqoy has secured alternative funding for the remainder.

Marleni, Jonathan, Cynthya, Guillermina, Jonathan, and Dina are all enrolled in post-secondary schools in Cusco, Peru. They began their studies in August/September of 2008. The students have begun their second semester of studies and they are waiting for their grades for the first semester. The students are all doing really well and are happy living together with the other Mosqoy students in Cusco. They have also enjoyed having an English tutor come regularly to help them with their studies. The students have expressed a great deal of thanks to all of the sponsors who have made their dreams possible.
